A rich chenin, golden colour, the nose at the moment is subdued, hints of coconut and pineapple. Need s lots of air at the moment. The structure and oiliness is reminiscent of a Grand Cru from the Alsace. At first exotic fruits dominate but gradually complexer aromas develop, creme brûlée, toffee/salt-caramel. the acidity is very much in the background, the wine with it's 14% is niether clumsy or sickening. I think it would really pay to forget this wine in the cellar for 5-10 years and see what happens.
